Yes, i am 6 months behind on this list, better late than never.

Wanted to say that there is indeed a file format for TINs, VTP ITF, which is
simple, efficient, geospatially aware, and documented.  User in the VTP
community have been using it for years.  It's a 'standard' insofar as more
software should decide to adopt it.
