This collection aims to serve as a multi- and inter-disciplinary forum for current thinking in the field of global governance. We welcome contributions from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to international relations, political science, law, economics, sociology, history, sustainability, development, security, sport, public health, demography, and cultural studies. *Humanities & Social Sciences Communications* is a fully open-access online journal that publishes peer-reviewed research in and across all fields of the humanities, arts, and social sciences.
