Hi everyone, Last fall, several of us proposed a roundtable for the upcoming ISA conference called "Carbon on Campus: Implementing the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment." We envisaged it an open forum for swapping experiences, frustrations, and ideas, since this is an area in which many of us are involved in one way or another--the sort of roundtable at which there is no real difference between panelists and audience other than the seating chart.
Anyhow, over the past month a couple of the originally scheduled panelists had to drop out, so in the interests of having a lively roundtable, I'm hoping to find two or three volunteers to serve as panelists. You don't need to prepare anything, just come ready to chat about your experience trying to advance carbon neutrality (and sustainability in general) on your campus, working (or being unable to work) with students, faculty, administrators, and staff. The roundtable is scheduled for Friday (March 28) at 10:30-12:15, so you wouldn't even have to get up at an unreasonable hour. If you're interested in joining the roundtable, please let me know at your earliest possible convenience. In any case, I look forward to seeing many of you soon! Best wishes, Rob Darst Associate Professor of Political Science Director of the University Honors Program University of Massachusetts Dartmouth
