The primary reason for this email is to update and thank all those who responded to my lil crooked gerbie crisis. I know I haven't yet replied to all the emails I have received, but I'm working on it. *lil laugh* I can't tell you how many times my face turned red at all the compliments. As for the gerbie, he's doing great. It turned out there was no internal bleeding (thank god) and he was just extremely dehydrated. The tilt of his head has become less and he finally can manage a straight line and other gerbil tricks (except jumping, which results in a flip). Many of you asked what I meant when I mentioned "physical therapy". Well, it's nothing scientific or medical that I know of. I'm a Computer Information Systems and Business major, not a therapy major. *g* Anyway, I've spent several hours, directing the gerbil in a straight line by running him in my hands as well as placing him on the floor with many obstacles and calling him to me (awarding him with a treat when he did well). Just after a couple hours of this I was very surprised at how well his motor skills improved. The circles and tumbling decreased by 50% in these few hours. So, it looks as if the little guy will be living a long and healthy (by crooked gerbil standards *s*) life. Now, the next reason for this message. I am unsubscribing from this list. I do not have the time or patience to sift through all the arguing that's been going on. I subscribed in hopes of finding a happy gerbil community that stayed on topic. Instead I come across a list that chooses to "beat a dead horse" (if you will) with every digest. I believe Kirsten has proven herself to be quite immature, but so has those who chose to argue with her about what is right and what is wrong. If you don't like something, ignore it. In my opinion, you all have sunk to the same level. EVERYONE here needs to grow up. One doesn't attack a person they see on the sidewalk for presenting themselves in the "wrong" manner, you ignore them.
