Cindi- I hope you dont mind me sending this to the list. perhaps others
have suggestions or ADULT MEMBERS would be interested in trying this.

Perhaps, the glass sides can be taken out by putting a razor blade
(single edge) into the seams and cutting VERY CAREFULLY between the
glass panes.

VERY IMPORTANT, YOUNGER MEMBERS OF THIS LIST. DO NOT TRY THIS. HAVE AN
ADULT DO THIS FOR YOU.

Thank's for the picture and taking the time to think it over, that is great!
Now that is what I was thinking of doing, but I don't think I can remove the
glass without taking the trim off. Another problem is that on one tank the
side glass is on the inside of the ends and on the other tank the side is on
the outside of the ends (know what I mean?). Do you think I could knock out
the glass with a hammer without breaking the other sides?>probably not. I'm
a chicken too I keep looking at it but have not started it yet. Worse comes
to worse and I do break it I still have that piece of plexi glass 1x3 that I
never used for the lid! The metal ruler is an excellent idea I have a few
around here too. Thanks Gary, let me know what you think.
