Sand - Chinchilla dust or cornmeal can be used. If you leave it in the
tank, it will become a potty.
Digging - Kicking pups out of nest while digging is common. Pups survive
this fine.
Labeling - Male gerbils are called Bella Tor and Females are called
Bella Trix. This is latin for Male clawed warrior and Female clawed
warrior.
