Thank you all for your kind advice and suggestions. It seems that Julian is totally right. My gerb just injured himself whilst cleaning his ear. I treated the wound with camomille cream. The bleeding stopped and the wound is healing okay. It still looks pretty bad but it does not give me a fright anymore. There is no fighting at all and the other two are grooming the injured one. I'm so happy now I kept them together. I appreciate your help. It's good to know, there is always someone out there to ask for help! Have a nice day! Jutta
