LOL, see my post of yesterday "Gerbil in Labor?" and the post from this

Jasmine was suddenly (over a couple of days) MUCH bigger (analogous I
suppose to human fetuses who gain much much weight in that last month of the
10 lunar months of gestation). When I noticed that, I also noticed that she
was very slow (for a gerbil), kind of acting sad (labor will do that to you,
TRUST me), and shivered when sitting still. The male was trying to mount
her (which others have said can happen throughout the pregnancy, but I
hadn't seen him do it since "their honeymoon"). Maybe THAT was why she was
acting sad and shivering! Just a thought....
Others have seen a bloody show but she will clean it up quickly so you may
not see it. The surest sign, though, is what I saw about 30 minutes
ago--li'l pink wrigglers...
