I think it is in conflict with the spirit of rules 4 and 5 in the
charter.
If someone wants to raise money for a shelter there is nothing wrong
with asking interested people in getting in touch. But there is a line
to be drawn between that and trying to involve people in what looks like
selling for a commercial operation for whatever motive.
I don't think this post is such a clear breach of the charter that it
deserves censure, especially as the motive appears to be a good one. But
I think people need to be very careful about taking part in this sort of
sales work.
