I don't think there would be any problem, provided it's only white paper,
and not multiple part forms: the kind you write on the top copy, and the
copies under it are written on by the pressure? I'm allergic to the
chemicals in that kind of paper - it makes my eyes burn- so it would prob.
be a bad idea to put gerbs on that kind.

I bought a 25 lb bag of Kaytee Kay-kob corn cob litter at PetSmart when I
was in Houston last weekend, and I can already tell a huge difference in
Violet's nose, which was all red and swollen and bare on aspen litter
(aspen doesn't bother anybody else, but the dust bothers me.) You might
want to give that a try, if the shredded paper doesn't work out.
