I called my post office this week and was talking to him about shipping
gerbils..they have a book that states all the requirements of shipping
animals..they had entry's for small cold blooded animals, small warm blooded
animals, chickens..etc. So I wouldn't think that it is if the post office
has books that state this. Also on the USPS web site (www.usps.com) You can
go to an area to figure up the cost of shipping and animals is an option.
Just thought I'd share the infomation I've learned since the topic was
brought up. :)
