I don't follow you here. Do you mean a non-spotted male from Tess & Martin
will be paired with Mattie in 10+ weeks?
Spotted or pied is not recessive. It's dominant. So if it's there, you'll
see it. It's also bad in the sense that if you cross two spotted or pied
individuals they'll have fewer pups surviving to be born than if only one
parent was spotted or pied.
