Iva - Bleep is very protective of his territory and may become tamer if
handled in unfamiliar areas. It might help to pick him up with a cup or
can and then transfer him to a box or empty tub. Once there, you may be
able to handle him.

Deep Gerbil bites are considered puncture wounds and if bitten, one
should get a Tetanus shot.
