I am trying to introduce two young males (6 weeks) to an older
male (1year). Quieks, the older one has been alone for several
months after a bloody fight with his first companion.
He seems very interested in meeting the two younger ones and
we've tried putting them together after two days of split cage.
The two babies basically jumped him enthusiastically and I think
he got overwhelmed and became a bit aggressive toward them.
He didn't hurt them, but I aborted the attempt and they are back
in the split cage.
Are two babies too much for him, since he's been alone for quite a while?
Should I try the intro again in a few days, or only introduce him
to one of the babies?
I chose two, because I didn't want to have one be alone, when the older
one passes away.
I'd appreciate any advice!
