They make a terrible mess of it. And often times, they will roll
in it, then use the dish as a toilet, and anything kicked off into
the bedding, they'll roll in that too.
I give mine a dish of it before weekly cage cleaning, so they
can enjoy it, then I can clean it all up. They get it for about
thirty minutes once a week.
