I only left mine in for my chin about 1/2 hour every night.   She made a
terrible mess of it, otherwise, and I'd end up having to toss and and
refill her "bathing boat" (it was a mini tureen that I bought at a garage
sale.... between rollings, she'd sit up in it, looking like a wee Valkyrie
sailing along....) every night.   If gerbils treat their bathing dust like
Madeline did, I wouldn't leave it in all the time.....
