I have a pair of new gerbils that are really small and young and, I
think, both female. I don't know much about telling the gender of
gerbils, but I've been to lots of websites, looked at pictures and
descriptions. I'm pretty sure these 2 are female and most likely
sisters. Since I've been doing research about gerbils I've discovered
conflicting info about keeping 2 females together. Some say that you
only need to be concerned with more than two females kept together, some
say that even two females will fight. This is only my second pair of
gerbils, and the others were males. Now I'm worried that my girls are
going to grow up and fight and I'll have to seperate them. What have
everyone's experiences been with female pairs? Should I be concerned?
