Any pair of gerbils may fight. Whether they are males or females. Over
time males are much less likely to fight, but that doesn't mean you two
females will be at one another's throats in no time t all. Being of the
same age they should live happily together. Please do not worry about
it.
The main time for trouble with two gerbils the same age is when they get
to old age. It is unlikely that you will have a problem with just two
females, but even if you do it is unlikely to be for a very long time.
