This wholesaler/breeder I have heard of, they are based and
dealt with the east coast corridor.
The one we have here in Colorado, is Tropaquatics. They
pretty much supply the entire state on all the wholesale small
animals. The problem with Tropaquatics is that the animals
THEY get have problems with wet-tail in the hamsters and
other problems with the other ones.
Especially the 'push to christmas' and the mid spring in
the south (March-May); you can't get Dri-Tail for love, money
or blackmail. Some stores quit ordering animals during
that period.

This happens when someone doesn't care and is trying to produce
thousands of animals.
A reputable place does the inspections by the Dept of Ag AND
gets regular inspection visits by a licensed practicing DVM.
