Thanks for the suggestions! I have to take off in a few minutes and I will
pick up some baby food while I'm out.
After I sent that last message, I went and took care of him again. He drank
much better this time, but it was plain water, he doesn't care for the water
with the antibiotic in it. He also ate two seeds this time for me. After I
put him back in his tank, he actually went to the water bottle and took a
few more drinks on his own. That's the first I have seem him drink on his
own since he became ill.
I would also like to thank Donna A. for her suggestion of putting a lamp
near one corner of the tank. I just moved his tank to the desk and put the
lamp near the corner where the nest is.
I'll keep everyone updated on his condition. I've never experienced this
before with a gerbil.
Thanks,
Ann-Marie
