hello. kinda new to the list. had some questions about my gerbies. The first one is, if a female is pregnant, would a male try to mate with her, or if he's trying, does this mean she isn't pregnant? Her litter is about 18 days old now. The second is, is there anyone in the Dallas area who might be interested in a pair of dove girls? They won't be weaned for another three weeks. And the only genes I'm certain of is aappCc(h). I can't ship, which is why I asking about anyone in the dallas area. The third is, do you think posting adpotion notices in pet stores is a good thing? I'm planning on making some flyers with the pics of the gerbies I am going to need homes for and posting them in the pet stores. (NO not even THINKING of selling to a pet store . . . I'd go broke first) Has anyone done this, and if so how well does it work? The fourth question is . . . is it very expensive to keep several cages of gerbils? Right now I only have the pair and their litter, which is only 18 days old, but I don't want to give them all away, want to keep as many as I can. From this litter have alreayd promised two to sister-in-law, and am hoping to get another pair with genes for the gold colors (recessive ee). I want to be able to keep some or most of them, but wanted to know if it would cost a lot. Thanks for any answers you can give me. ===== The GemStar Clan Tina Ballerina, Kibble, and the babies __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Yahoo!
