Want to hear something odd? A couple of weeks ago my female gerbil gave
birth to a SINGLE baby. If that isn't strange enough, when it started growing
fur, its hair was black!! When the parents are both white! I have looked at all
possibilities...such as the female mating with another gerbil. but that just
isnt possible since i have had them, alone, in a tank for over 6 months
now.
How can this be?!
