Just passing on some gerbil color info that I learned.
I didn't know that the colorpoint did not show up
until the pups molted (and that you can't see it from
the pigment skin color).
Now that I am breeding for many colors and have an
awesome digital camera I am creating "color strips" of
gerbils evolving from pigment to fuzz to fur to
molted. I am working (with others) to create a color
strips page for the AGS site.
