Lisa,

We have all noticed the problems you have with keeping pups alive. Even the new unexperenced people like me. Some of the emails you have write about the things your females do to pups are rather disturbing. Someone had to speak up and tell you what you were obviously not seeing. I have never known Donna to be anything but helpful, funny, kind, and most of all an extrem gerbil lover. I am sure that what she said to you (and i agree totally) was never meant to offend you (i am sorry that it did), but just to try and make you see what was happening and what you could do about it. You do have a reall problem on your hands but it is easly solved and any responsible breeder would have taken action the moment she realized how bad that porblem was. I would think if i had a female that had done the things yours continue to do to her helpless pups i would have removed her from my breeding program the first time it happned. Why whould you want to chance the life and limbs of two lit! ters when the problem is so easly solved? All Donna did was try to open your eyes to something that should have been obvious to even the most novice breeder immediately. if you did not want her help then why do you keep writing to the GML about these terrible maimings? We are all only trying to help you Lisa, you should not take or concirne as insult.
