I agree absolutely. We keep all gerbils that are unsuitable for any
reason for rehoming or breeding. We also have rescued plenty of gerbils
and rats that other owners have said were vicious and unhandlable etc.
We have found exactly 0% of the gerbils to be like that .We have never
had an unhandlable gerbil. On the other hand, rescued rats that have
been labelled as "vicious" have landed Jackie in hospital before now!
