speedy delivered the three in the wheel and then I helped her get them to
the nest. she waited two hours before giving birth to the last baby and I
think it was still born. It is now nowhere to be found so I assume it has
been eaten or is buried in the nest somewhere. speedy is not as attentive to
the kiddos as crystal and I wonder if that has to do with the way the
birthing process started. Her babies seems smaller than crystal and she
spends less time with them. Snow flake comes by often and stirs them up.
both snow flake and speedy seem obsessed with the missing wheel. They have
spent alot of time at the end of that tunnel trying to dig at it now that it
is blocked. Since she is down to three babies, should I be concerned about
her milk supply? When should I consider supplimenting with the kitten milk?
It seems that speedy and snowflake are more concerned about starting the
next set of kids than they are taking care of these guys. I was wondering if
it might be better to move the whole set of them to the new aquarium. I
could just snap off the house that speedy has the babies in and move it
completely intact into the aquarium. maybe with less distractions of the
tunnels they might spend more time with the kids? Crystal is doing very well
and all five of her kids look bigger and are moving around alot and they are
only 24 hours ahead of speedy's kids.
