One more thing I forgot to mention on the last post..
Does anyone's gerbil suck on its paws? I have had many gerbils and my Kippy is the only one I've ever seen with this habit. She is not biting her nails. She is not preening herself. She is sucking, sometimes one paw and sometimes both. And she INSISTS on doing it when company is over. We have had many long talks about this but since she *is* a gerbil and probably does not understand even a word I say she keeps on sucking. And with the most mischivous glint in her eyes!
She sucked her paws in the airport and on the airplane and she really has no manners. Any idea why?
