if she is biting you a lot and you really want to tame her, you could try
wearing clean gardening gloves, they can't bite through them and it
might convince her you aren't food, but make sure it smells of you or
the gerbs.It might not work but I tried it with pepper as soon as I got
her because she could really bite, and she was really tame (she was a
rescue gerb)
