my gerbil tidbit i found at a pet store had a broken leg and was getting
beat up by his brothers and sisters. i brought him home in his own tank and
he was better in 2 weeks. if your baby is old enough to be weaned (at
least 5 weeks) i would put it in a seperate tank and it should do fine to be
re-introduced to 1 same- sex sibling.
