I don't know what Kashi is, but I've been using Kellogg's Spoon Sized Shredded
Wheat, which has absolutely no sugar or salt or anything added.
I also feed them cooked plain white rice. I suppose you can feed them cooked wild
rice, etc too. Rice has almost no fat to speak of either. They love it, they even
forego sunflower seeds for rice!
