I also rescued a PEW gerbil with a sore nose and a
black gerbil that were on cedar. Their story is

Perhaps, when they get better and have babies you can
pair it to a spice gerbil and rehome the rest. This
way if any babies are born with pretty colors you will
be able to keep them. If you have too many, you won't
be able to keep them.
