Good morning everyone (it's 8:30 AM here),
Can you please describe what diarrhea in gerbils look like? Are there other
physical symptoms that goes with it?
I noticed that in the past couple of days there seems to be more urine than usual in
the cage, though it could also be that they're more noticeable due to the new
flooring I added to the cage. But liquid does comes out the same time as when they
do poopies, yet they're still little pellets, not squishy messy stuff like human
diarrhea. However the gerbies are otherwise acting fine aside from sleeping more (I
don't know whether to attribute this to the changing seasons or the darker cage
floor now that I've put a box around the cage or illness).
If this IS diarrhea, what remedies are there?
