Members,
In the past few days
a number of member have mentioned trouble with the forms on the AGS site.
Our webmaster has looked into the situation, and the trouble has been
corrected.
Our host had
upgraded their servers, and when switching our site to the new machines the
forms were corrupted. Once we learned of the trouble and spoke to the host
it only took a few minutes to correct the problem.
Due to the large
number of registrations during the past month we will not be excepting any new
gerbil or member registrations until September 17. This will give our
Registrar time to catch up on the back log that has occurred, because of the
rapid growth the AGS has been under going. Our Registrar, Susan Fitts, has
a full time job, cares for her family, and volunteers 1-2 hours per day to
keep the registrations moving.
In the future Susan
will be assisted by a number of volunteers to keep up with the flood of
registrations. This will ensure the smooth processing of registrations in
the future.
