Hi, just a quick question:
does hot water and soap kill mites in cages (aquariums, if I submerge them in the bathtub for a while? I know I need stronger stuff for the gerbs (have a vet appt on Tuesday), but want to at least get as many of the mites out of the cages NOW <g>. I don't know how badly infested they are, since I just found one fat, red mite crawling on me after playing with 2 of our gerbs. No overt signs on any of them (no scratching or visible mites) but they are there.
