Jake, First off I had 4 ferrets. And a bid myth about
them is they smell. Well they do have a scent but, if
you DO NOT BATH THEM they will not smell as much. It
works like this: If ferrets like any other mammal
produce scents to attract and/or ward off other
animals. If you bath a ferret all the time the scent
will be produced at a much faster pace than if the
scent is not washed away at all. Males tend to smell
heavier than females. I suggest you visit a sight
called Ferret Central, here is the addy there are just
too many myths and false stories about ferrets out
there. This is a trusted sight so check it out. Like I
said before they are master magicians so make sure
they cannot get to your gerbils!

I have access to a Ferret Shelter too and I know she
would gladly answer your ?'s.
