I was not sure which list to send this to, so I
sent it to both. I hope that that is okay. I am the person who asked about whether my gerbil could possibly be
pregnant after a month. I am not sure if that message actually made it to
the list, because nobody answered it. It probably didn't. So we
finally took her to the vet, and the vet thinks that she has an ovarian
cyst. My question for you is, has anyone ever had an ovarian cyst/ovary
removed from their gerbil? She is 2 years old. Also, is surgery like
that cruel to the gerbil? Would it be painful for long? Any opinions
would be appreciated. We will probably make the decision on Monday.
