Hi

>I got a little bit of a dilema here, I have a breeding pair who I believed
>to be a Dove and an Ivory Cream Spot.  They recently had pups and after 12
>days it's obvious that there's 2 Doves and 1 Albino.

Remember its only their first litter and all the gene combinations may not have come out yet!

>How is that possible??  According to all the gene calcs I've done I was
>expecting Argente Golden and Argente Creams... doh!

This is made possible if Dove was aa Cc(h) E_ Gg pp and the Ivory Cream Spot was
Aa CC E_ gg pp  If you run those thru the gene calculator you will see that you get doves and REW's which is what you got, plus you have the chance of 6 other colours!

>The two Doves have a dove grey appearance, I know that Argente does have a
>grey undercoat, does the orange come through later?

No, they are apparant very early, one is a golden orange and the other is a creamier version, check out the colour pallette for some good pictures.

Hope this helps

Eddie
