Oh thanks, am I?

Since I have not followed gpleda etc in the last year or something, I am
not really up to speed.

Seems like Dan has some objections and since I find Dan as one of the
key contributors and I trust his opinions I think we should take his
objections into consideration. And the objections do not seem unreasonable.
1) The bus number should probably be no problem to solve. Even though I
have not been hit by a bus yet, I have the faith and trust that others
will continue the work if I did.
2) Format of the commit mails I have no idea. Is it built into git or is
it just a configuration thing?

The only thing I have thoughts about is the split into some data on
gpleda and some data on sourceforge. That might be confusing for users.

When I started this project I selected sourceforge by some reason
instead of going with geda. I think the biggest reason was probably that
I didnt want to disturb the geda project with my
ramblings/hacks/wild-n-crazy experiments. And I wanted some control.
Maybe the control was also the CVS part, the last thing I wanted to do
was screwing up geda CVS. I think both geda and gerbv has matured beyond
my naive start though.

One part of me says why? And the other part says, why not?

So do as you wish, but consider Dans opinions. Especially the bus number
problem, that is probably my biggest concern too.

Is the web pages going into some Wiki format like MediaWiki or is it the
old hand tuned pages that are considered? A good idea is probably to
start using some kind of Wiki thing, I've been thinking about that for
while for gerbv.

Best regards,
/Stefan
