The root cause is the same as in 3196584. To reproduce: 1. Add a layer from any file. The menu options for exporting are activated. 2. Press Ctrl+F: A search filed opens. 3. Press ESC. The search field disappears. No layer is selected anymore. 4. Now try to export a drill file. This causes a segfault. Please don't take this the wrong way.
