its a serious problem if it emails your password
and youve used the same password elsewhere
for emails, banking etc.

Yes, I've had one every month since I joined the list - and I get many
other similar reminders from other lists. It's a public email list - anyone
can join and see what anybody else says on the list. I don't actually see
there is a serious problem.
