yeah it finds the screen as well as i started writing the program in
realbasic 2005 r4 the demo then i bought 5.5.2 of my mate and i does
not work in there but screen count works in both of them and says i
have 2 screens

Works OK on my Windows XP PC, where the window's client area
completely
covers the second screen.
Are you sure your external monitor is set up as an additional screen?
Does
MsgBox str(ScreenCount)
show 2 on your test machine, as it does on mine?
