Perhaps that is what you were thinking of.

So, there was an interruption of the archives, but the listserves were still
sending out e-mails?

As far as it concerned me, yes.

I stopped receiving all e-mail from all RB lists until I happened to notice that the statement on the RB website had been removed. I checked fairly often. Once it was removed, I had to sign on to the lists again to begin
receiving posts.

You didn't have to do this?

Nope. I have regularly received everything on all of the lists I subscribe to for a very long time.

There was a period where my server was having problems and my mail was getting delayed but that was many, many months ago. All mail was eventually delivered but the time stamps were messed up a bit. I even got some that said they were sent in 1904.

I wouldn't know if it was possible, but perhaps someone is playing games and unsubscribing you. You might have accidentally verified their actions in the automatic letter sent to you from RS. This is purely hypothetical and speculation on my part though.

Judging by your letters, I would doubt that RS would be dropping you from the lists. At least, not without a warning first. I think you would have to be breaking the rules quite severely to have this happen.

There might also be a bug somewhere that could be affecting your subscriptions for one reason or another. It could be at RS, your own server or within your own email client.
