Check out my REALbasic-made app called Stimulus which does exactly that: http://www.ebutterfly.com/stimulus/ Just do a loop through a directory, checking each file's format to see if it is an MP3 file. If it is, then add it as a row to your listbox. Then code your listbox to play the folderitem of a selected/double-clicked MP3 file in a MoviePlayer control.
