Jack,
Thanks for your response. When I double-click a word in a RB
editfield, the word is highlighted in a light blue (&cB4D5FF). When
I select a word with code, I get an outline of the area of the word
but the color is white. How do I set the RB app to use the same
highlight color?

I have selected a portion of text in an editfield using
EF.SelStart and EF.SelLength and want to set the back color of the
selected text as if the user had double-clicked on a word. Is
there a way to do this?
Thanks,
I'm not sure I understand your objective. If you doubleclick a word
the word is highlighted in the current highlight color. When you
select text as you've described above the text is highlighted in
the current highlight color. So some might say you've done what you
intended to do, but there's more to it, right?
Best,
Jack
