Bernd... oh come on. Get serious.

I've been running mailing lists since 1997, that's over 5-years.

I don't "automatically blocking any suspected spam".

Never have done.

I only block on actual spams.

I have 5 -levels of anti-spam. All are proven ie. I don't do any 'grey area'
filtering. It's all based on verifiable spams.

It has to be verifiable, and to block a list of IP's, the ISP has too be :-

a) Repeatedly ignore spam complaints.
b) Bounce postmaster ie. it doesn't exist, reapeatablt claim their
postmaster account is over quota, or some other meaningless response.
c) Be a known spam or spam friendly organization.

Unfortunately, gmx has been abysmal in the past.

Why don't you complain to them about there inadequete TOS (Terms of service),
and failure to respond to spam complaints.

You complained to me at 08/25/03 04:44 am.

I responded at 25 August 2003 15:06 est

You replied at 08/25/03 09:14 am and referenced me to mail.gmx.net which I
did a dns lookup and unblocked that IP.

Nothing more till today.

It turns out that mail.gmx.net doesn't send email to the internet but uses the
mail servers at mx0.gmx.net & mx0.gmx.de which are on different IP's.
I unblocked those as soon as I saw Anton's mail to the list.

If you had tested earlier and replied, this would have been resolved some days
ago.

I have tried to be helpful, but if you don't respond in a timely manner, whose
fault is that ?
