Still, I don't think that claim is needed for this one:

The only reason to build data centres on mass is then to scale compute
massively, which increases energy consumption accordingly.
I certainly have no objection to the claim that more energy is going
into AI workloads as time goes on.  But how much? And is it an
*unjustifiable* amount? That's the question that needs to be answered.
