People, I refer to the std_logic_arith packages and their ilk.
What can we do to stop people writing supposedly portable VHDL but using these proprietary libraries? It seems to me that most people don't even know these are not ieee standard libraries, and are not aware of the problems with them. How do we get the message out? Tristan, I thank you every time for the --ieee=synopsys and -fexplicit options in ghdl.
