i noticed that there are plenty of simulators available on the market
however they all have limited functionality. to make them function fully one
has to purchase a license. i'm not saying that this is bad, but what about
engineers who lost their jobs, not all of them can afford to buy a license
which costs $2500 a piece. i'm also thinking about hobbyists and students.
this is a group of people who can't afford to buy such software. for one i'm
one of those people. i also noticed that there are no system verilog
simulators available (since it is somewhat new language) and the verilog
simulators do not have a complete implementation of the language. it would
be nice to have something of that sort. i realize it is a fairly large task
but i wouldn't mind to donate some of my spare time to it. after all that's
how linux got started.
