I have been taking the approach that if anything seems wrong in upstream gcc, it probably isn't and I need to look deeper, and so far that's pretty much been the case. But I really don't know my way around the configure/make system (as I demonstrated last time!) and so a mess for other build systems is quite possible. That would be well worth improving where possible. Also my patch hasn't covered it all : there is still one patch to apply for 64-bit builds or not for 32-bit, nobody seems to have got to the bottom of that issue yet... > I'll hopefully find some time to deal with this in two weeks and start > documenting.
