OK; that might be worth adding to the roadmap if feasible.
The bug16872 ticket shows the ghdl-gcc version as
printing the following useful message:
./bug:error: bound check failure at bug.vhd:23
This is a bound-check. They have line/filename info.
I suspect Brian Drummond's patch, to the win32.c exception code, is
actually unrelated to the missing bound-check message in Windows
ghdl-mcode.
Which would explain why I see no difference in the bug16872 results
with it applied...
